I'm Simon Jesse, a photographer based in Cologne, Germany. My work lives at the edge of motion: panning shots that hold a rider sharp while the world tears past, and quiet frames that catch the moment before the gun.
Away from the course the same instinct goes looking for light — a peak at dusk, fog lifting off a lake, a parked truck on an empty curve. Different subject, same eye.
I shoot full-frame and work the whole course across swim, bike and run. I understand how images need to look for athletes and their sponsors, so the frames arrive ready to use.
